Warranty

All items (except for electrical appliances (2 years) and the Cast line products (5 years)) are covered by a lifetime* warranty, starting from the date of purchase at a legitimate dealer.

Flatware and knives are always covered by a maximum warranty of 30 years.

BergHOFF will replace or repair all products, for material, construction or manufacturing defects … and when the products were used under normal conditions, as recommended in the manual(s). Please send the product to be repaired or replaced, in the original packing. The shipping & handling costs (always to be paid in advance!) are not included in this warranty.

This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, overheating, dropping or intentional abuse.

Minor imperfections or discolorations (18/10 T304/316 stainless steel can get a blue or auburn colour) regularly occur with all kinds of stainless steel, but don’t affect the performance. Small scratches regularly occur as well, but are not covered by the warranty.

The use of harmful detergents, damaging the anti-oxidation layer and causing corrosion, is not covered by the warranty.
